Philosophy

My philosophy is to provide you with the best service possible. That means different things in different cases.

Peacemaker and justice promotersatelite view of planet earth
In most cases, the parties can reach a settlement that seems fair to both sides. Here, I aim for a process that maintains the parties’ respect and dignity. In family mediation, it means that it results in parents who can still communicate about the children for the children’s sake. Or the two people can continue to share a community of friends and family without others having to take sides.

Problem-Solver
In yet other situations, one party has the situation in hand but needs a bit of legal assistance. I then try to listen very carefully as to what exactly is needed and do just that.

Fighter
In other cases, people need someone to stand up for them because they cannot stand up by themselves. They need someone who can use the power of the legal system to protect them and hold someone else accountable. Here, methods such as temporary restraining orders would be sought.
